An empty tree pit

In 2012 the maple tree planted in front of our Baltimore rowhouse died.  Planted with the help of our neighbors 25 years ago, it provided shade, privacy and a home for birds in front our our house.  The city came and cut it down leaving an empty tree pit and a stump.  We were sorry to see it go. Fortunately we have three healthy trees remaining on our block and some day we'll plant a new tree.  While we are waiting for the right time to plant (we still have the stump to remove) we decided to create a replacement.  Check in over the next few weeks to see our new "tree" emerge.

  1. I cannot wait to see what master turner Mark Supik has in mind. This should be fun to watch.
